On June 29, 2025, our Pauline Family in Melbourne gathered in joyful communion to celebrate the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul hosted by the Pastorelle Sisters, a day that holds deep significance for our Pauline Family and communities. This feast, emblematic of unity and mission, was made even more special by the presence of Fr. Nestor Candado SSP and Fr. Anthony SSP, who travelled from Sydney to join us in this significant sacred occasion.
The Eucharistic celebration was a profound moment of grace and Fr. Anthony was the main celebrant. During the Mass, the Pastorelle Pauline Co-operators made their promises, publicly committing to live out the charism of our founder, Blessed James Alberione. Their promises are a testament to the enduring spirit of the Pauline Family and a source of inspiration for us all. At the end of the gathering, when all guests have left, we the religious of the Pauline Family, gathered once again before our Eucharistic Lord for the Pauline Family Jubilee prayers, led by Fr. Nestor. This time of prayer was a moment of reflection and renewal, as we gave thanks for the blessings bestowed upon our community and sought strength for the journey ahead.
This day was not just a celebration; it was a living testament to the vitality and unity of the Pauline Family in Melbourne. It was a day of grace, a day of promises, and a day of renewed commitment to our shared mission. We thank the Lord for this blessing and look forward to continuing our journey together in faith and service.
