On 24 October 2026, our Sydney community had the joy of welcoming three young women for a day of vocational discernment. It was a grace-filled opportunity to accompany them as they explore God’s call in their lives and deepen their understanding of religious vocation.
The programme conducted by Sr. Christine and Sr. Anita included a short talk on vocation, followed by a video presentation on the life of Mother Scholastica Rivata, which offered the young women an insight into her life, faith, and dedication to God. The session continued with group discussions, providing an opportunity to share their thoughts, reflections, and experiences about the call to religious life.
The young women then joined the community for Adoration and the First Vespers of the Solemnity of Jesus Master, sharing moments of prayer and fellowship with the sisters. It was a beautiful opportunity for them to experience the rhythm of community life and the central place of prayer in our vocation.
We are grateful for this meaningful encounter and pray that the Lord will continue to guide these young women as they listen to His voice and discern His plan for their lives. May Mary, our Mother and model of faithful discipleship, accompany them on their journey of discernment.
