March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, a blessing of our renewed Liturgical Centre in Strathfield, NSW, took place. The community together with some friends gathered for a moment of prayer while Fr. Daniele Sollazzo FMDV, director of the Spiritual Formation at the Good Shepherd Seminary in Strathfield, blessed the premises of the recently renovated Liturgical Apostolate Centre.
The gospel passage chosen for the occasion was Luke 19: 1-9 that recounts Jesus’ visit to Zacchaeus’ house. Fr. Daniele emphasised that the Liturgical Centre is not an ordinary shop where people come to buy things but it is a place of evangelisation and of encounter. It is a place of the Sisters’ mission where beauty of the Liturgy is promoted and where people find help in strengthening their faith and prayer life.
